મ્યુઝિક થેરાપી આમ તો ગર્ભાવસ્થા, પ્રસુતિ અને નવજાત અવસ્થામાં કોઈ૫ણ સમયે આપી શકાય પરંતુ નવજાત અવસ્થાના સારા પરિણામો માતાને ગર્ભાવસ્થામાં જો મ્યુઝિક થેરાપી અપાઈ હોય તો મળે છે. આથી સગર્ભાવસ્થાના પાંચ માસથી મ્યુઝિક થેરાપી શરૂ ક૨વી જોઈએ.
