[Fun_4_Amdavadi_Gujarati] YOU & YOUR DONKEY

                           
            
One day Abdul and I and our donkey were going to town.  
Abdul rode on the donkey & I walked.  
As we went along we passed some people
who remarked it was a shame the old man
was walking and the boy was riding.

So Abdul and I thought maybe the critics were right,
so we changed positions.




Then, later, we passed some people who remarked,
'What a shame, he makes that little boy walk.'

So we then decided we would both walk!  
Soon we passed some more people who thought
we were stupid to walk when we had a
decent donkey to ride.  
So, we both rode the donkey.
Now we passed some people
who shamed us by saying how awful to
put such a load on a poor donkey.

So Abdul and I figured they were probably right,
so we decide to carry the donkey.  
As we crossed the bridge,
we lost our grip on the animal
and he fell into the river and drowned.
The moral of the story?



If you try to please everyone,
you might as well...
