I have always wonder what does 786/110 means? and finally got the ans i would like to share it...

Arabic Numerology or Islamic Numerology?

Sentences or words made of a complex number equations. Not only that, but people names can also be turned into this code. Some Scholars said that there is absolutely no significance to Islamic Numerology. Is this something made up by the people?

I read a book about this, it relates to the Story of Imam Jaffar Sadiq(as) and Al-Khawarizmi (the Great Mathematicians) .In this book it says that Imam Jaffar(as) encourage one of his student to explore Arabic Numerology to simplify the everyday mathematics used for marketplace. And al Khawarizmi came up with the concept of Arabic Numbers which is counted 1,2,3..10

I doubt it's "Islamic". It existed before the ascension of the Prophet (s), and was commonly used in the Arabian peninsula as a form of business language; because the people were illiterate (i.e didn't know how to write/read Arabic language).

Here is the Arabic letters and their corresponding number representations :

Alif = 1
ba = 2
ta = 400
tha = 500
Jim = 3
ha = 8
kha = 600
dal = 4
zal = 700
ra = 200
zai = 7
seen = 60
sheen = 300
sadh = 90
dhad = 800
tah = 9
thah = 900
ain = 70
ghain = 1000
fa = 80
kaf = 20
qaf = 100
lam = 30
meem = 40
noon = 50
haw = 5
ya = 10

i) Here is how we get 786 for bismillah

2+60+40+1+30+ 30+5+1+30+ 200+8+40+ 50+1+30+200+ 8+10+40=786

ii) as for 110

ALI = 70 +30+ 10 = 110

Allah + Mohammed + Ali + Fatema + Hasan + Husain

66 + 229 + 110 + 135 + 118 + 128 = 786 (Bismillahir Rehmanir Rahim)
