Technical Check & Market Outlook
After thirteen weeks of unprecedented up move market seemed to have felt tired at the current level previous week and in spite of its best effort Spot Nifty could not give weekly closing above the strong supply zone of 4650.Throughout the week some correction was observed in selective large cap stocks whereas specific mid cap and small cap stocks continued to outperform the market by making new highs in recent months. Finally Spot Nifty ended the week at 4583.40 down by 3.5 points or 0.08%. BSE Sensex closed at 15237.94 with a net gain of 134.90 points or 0.89%, BSE Midcap index closed at 5235.03 declining 174.75 points or 3.23%, BSE Small cap indices closed at 6014.66 with a net decline of 443.99 points or 6.87%. The volume was bit lower than the previous week and the breadth of the market was more or less negative.
Technically speaking in the Spot Nifty weekly candlestick chart a long leg dozi pattern has emerged which depicts indecision at the current level. After giving a mild jerk early in the week Spot Nifty held near to the higher end of the trading range i.e. 4650 through out the week but could not cross 4700 mark finally to close below 4600 mark.
