Jeevan Prabhat is a home for the earthquake affected children. These children come from the educationally and economically backward section of the society. All the children are from villages and when they join Jeevan Prabhat they have not had any formal education. Most of them have even not attended any school and if they have attended a school then it is just for passing time.

In Jeevan Prabhat these children are sent to school and also six qualified teachers have been employed to give them home coaching. 70% of the children of Jeevan Prabhat secure a place in the top five in their respective classes and we have a 100% pass result. There are 162 children in Jeevan Prabhat and 158 go to school.

There are two feathers in our cap this year. One is Rajesh who has secured 78% in the commerce stream of standard 12^th this year. He wants to study further and become a Chartered Accountant. The other is our daughter Jigna who has secured 85% in the 10^th standard board exams. Last year also Mahipat had secured 78% in SSC.

This percentage may not sound very high but if you consider the background of these children and also the biggest factor - that these children never went for any tuitions or attended any coaching classes. They studied at home in Jeevan Prabhat. They were helped in their difficulties by their school teachers, by the teachers of Jeevan Prabhat and the management of Jeevan Prabhat. They are staying in Jeevan Prabhat with another 162 children which in itself is a big distraction. But still they have worked hard and achieved this.

We are dependent only on donations from noble persons like you for making the lives of these children and we do not take any Government Grants. We heartily invite you to visit our campus and shower your love & affection on these children.
