This is a very celebrated painting from China.  People stand in line for hours at the Shanghai Museum to view it.  It was painted between 1085-1145 during the they Dynasty of the North Song.  It was repainted during the Qing Dynasty.  It measures 5meters wide and 24.8 cm tall.  It is considered one of the Great Treasures of China and was exhibited at the Hong-Kong Museum of Art last year.
