સગર્ભાવસ્થાથી જ શિશુ અંદાજે 5મા માસથી જ તમામ શ્રાવ્ય અવાજો સાંભળી શકે છે. સૌથી વધુ તેને સંભળાતો અવાજ છે માતાનો!! આજ કારણ છે કે જન્મ પછી પણ માતાનો અવાજ શિશુને સૌથી વધુ ગમે છે. અમે હંમેશા માતાને પોતાના શિશુ સાથે વાતો કરવા કે ગાવા કહીએ છીએ. જરુરી નથી કે દરેક માતાનો અવાજ લતા મંગેશકર જેવો કર્ણપ્રિય હોય પણ તે બાળક માટે ચોક્કસ સૌથી વધુ પ્રિય હોય છે.!! એટલે થોડા જોડકણા કે ગીત જરુરથી ગાવા!!
