chaotic traffic, an overhead metro that never seems to get finished

dies of a sickness…now has it's beggars suddenly dying of "old age and heart attacks",
according to it's state minister…All of them were quickly creamated and buried
without a post-mortem even though the Central Government had ordered an inquiry..
26 deaths in 5 days in Bangalore beggars' home

BANGALORE: The mysterious death of 26 inmates of a beggars' home
in the last five days has shocked residents and put the government
on the defensive in a city that many consider the face of new India.
A sharp letter from Karnataka governor H R Bhardwaj pushed chief minister
B S Yeddyurappa into shunting out the state's social welfare minister D Sudhakar.
Three of the deaths were reported on Saturday.
The minister had dubbed the deaths as "coincidence"
and said his government merely released funds to the beggars'
home and could not be held responsible for what happened there.
Food poisoning was initially thought to be the cause but on Saturday,
the centre's doctor G Harimurthy said tests had confirmed gastroenteritis.
The governor said that Karnataka was trying to project its achievements,
the neglect and lack of appropriate response had shaken every civilized person.
