મનુષ્યમાં સામાન્યતઃ ગર્ભ કાળ નવમાસ જેટલો હોય છે. આ પછી ગર્ભમાંથી બાહ્ય દુનિયામાં આવવાની પ્રક્રિયા એટલે પ્રસૂતિ .... આ પ્રક્રિયા કુદરતી હોવા છતા આંટી ઘૂટી વાળી છે. કારણકે સામાન્યતઃ એક આંગળી પણ ન પ્રવેશી શકે તેવા ગર્ભાશયના મુખમાં થી શિશુનુ માથુ આખુ (અંદાજે 10.5 સેમી) નીકળવુ એ ચમત્કારથી વધુ કંઈ નથી.....
