I am pleased to announce that I have upgraded Pramukh Type Pad to version 3.0. Please visit http://service.vishalon.net/pramukhtypepad.aspx to look at the changes (Please refer to help for updated key mapping and new characters). Following are major improvements I have done.
- Core JavaScript library is enhanced
- Transliteration to and from English to Gujarati and other Indian languages are possible with a single click. So if you have a text in Gujarati or other Indian languages, using a single click you can transliterate (not translate) into readable English format which is very useful for person who can understand the Gujarati but cannot read it
- Using mouse, you can type in Gujarati and other Indian languages
- Instead of script based keyboard, now it supports language based keyboard to enhance use experience.
- TinyMCE and CKEditor plugins is also available for download.
- It is Unicode 6.0 compliant.
- Indian Rupee and Swastika characters are included in all languages
- For all Indian languages, many new characters are available.
