I am pleased to announce that I have upgraded PramukhIME for Windows to version 2.0. Please visit http://www.vishalon.net/PramukhIME/Windows.aspx to download the new version and look at the changes (Please refer to help for updated key mapping and new characters). Following are major improvements I have done.
· It supports 20 Indian languages Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santali, Sindhi, Tamil and Telugu
· For all Indian languages, many new characters are available.
· It is fully accessible by keyboard so user need not use mouse to use various PramukhIME functions.
· Instead of script based keyboard, now it supports language based keyboard to enhance use experience and hence some unique features of each language is included
· It is Unicode 6.0 compliant.
· Indian Rupee and Swastika characters are included in all languages
· Shortcut keys can be assigned by user as per need instead of F9-F12
